Rigorous Government and Industry Field Tests Demonstrate Operational Dependability of Savi’s RFID Products for Smart Asset Management

ALEXANDRIA, Va. – Jan. 4, 2011 – Savi Technology’s low-power wireless sensor technology recently demonstrated its operational performance, reliability and accuracy in separate field tests recently conducted by government- and industry-backed authorities. Savi Technology’s passage of the tests provides customers with reinforced confidence in the company’s solutions and the added benefit of third-party performance and reliability certification.

Savi Technology’s products became the first to achieve DASH7 Certified™ status in tests administered by Met Laboratories, an independent testing authority working with DASH7, a non-profit industry consortium that promotes the use of the ISO 18000-7 standard for wireless sensor networking.  Further, Savi’s RFID products were “verified and validated” as compliant with the ISO 18000-7 standard by the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL), an independent testing authority working on behalf of the U.S. Department of Defense.
